Fundraising with Pet Photography

I believe that ''givers gain.'' Take our pet dogs for example. We shelter and protect them and give them as much time as we can. The "gain" we receive can almost be measured as nearly tenfold if we were to measure what we "give" and what we "gain." The unconditional love we receive will often outway what we have invested. Our pets give us years of companionship, affection and the desire to please us. I believe that the happiest dogs are those with a job or service to perform. For some it's obedience, agility, for others it is service, and for many it is just comfort.

I am in a position to give 10% of my fees for my photo sessions to charities who refer their members to me for pet portraits. Presently, I am seeking pet related organizations who are interested in having me do a fund raise for them.

If there is a website or newsletter that goes out to the organization's members, I would like to ask for the opportunity to become a visible source of doing pet portraits for these members and return 10% of my fee to that same organization. My work finds its way to holiday cards that could be an additional source of revenue. Enlargements of selected images from my photo sessions also make for wonderful gifts for appreciation.
